Last December 1st, we joined together at the Laire's Farm, a resort of LYNCEO company, in order to carry on assessment tests of thermal cameras of 640x480 pixels long range (10° to 12°) from different builders at ranges of 250 m to 750 m.

Tests allowed to check target shape recognition :

Then a hiding protocol was processed, as well as detection tests of small animals (here, simulation with a warn water bottle, pulled by a string).

These tests allowed to evaluate cameras'capacity to detect targets, using identical detection rules/sensitivity in our Jaguar software :
