In the framework of a great infrastructure project for a river port, EVITECH was chosen to offer a multi-mission tool ensuring the following functions :

• flow control, reverse direction detection,
• intruder detection,
• event log generation (counting & statistics),

The installation of a video-analytics solution is a first experience for this customer, and it comes with a great equipment project.

A requirement for a possibility to evolve in the monitoring functions was specified from the very beginning. From a first configuration, there is a need to follow the activity observed and accompany this process with additional monitoring functions at no cost, on a given "detector/camera" platform. This kind of flexibility was not possible with other products that separate by functions the products and the licenses.
